Introducing Singer Songwriter, Angie Grace
Welcome everyone, my name is Angie Grace, and I am Logans next up and coming singer-songwriter! I have just completed year twelve and am diving headfirst into studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music at QUT.
This will encourage me to further my brand as a young musician and enhance my business skills as I develop my sound. I absolutely love various genres of music making it difficult to choose a favourite type. However, whilst composing I have found a love for the use of hybrid genres combining contemporary pop, country, and jazz.
“Logan has vastly influenced me creatively through countless opportunities provided by my community.”
I have been a part of many rewarding experiences including opening for the Choirboys, Forever Road, performing for Logan Live, Eats and Beats and Flash Fest, performing the national anthem for multiple ANZAC- dawn and day services and having been part of many Christmas carol events, wedding receptions and numerous community/fundraising events.
As COVID-19 became prevalent, the opportunity to perform live music grew limited. Whilst this was difficult, the change of pace provided me the chance to focus on song-writing.
“Currently, I have a released track called ‘Lil’ Community’ which I wrote during the height of isolation, reminiscing the love and support of my community.”
Fortunately to help release this single I was provided a grant allowing me to explore my creativity through the sound production and music video (released on both Spotify and YouTube). Currently I am working on a brand-new single featuring the deception of rose-coloured glasses. I am just making some last-minute edits before entering the recording stage.
As I embark on my musical journey, my lifetime goal is to fulfill my dream as a self-sufficient singer/songwriter. I am constantly inspired by artists such as Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, The Beatles, Queen and Rascal Flatts. Their use of production techniques, recording and performing skills motivate me endlessly to uniquely express myself.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me, and for your humble support.
