It’s Tea Time at Devon Pixies

High tea is an experience that is made to be shared; full of laughter, fun and delicious food. It’s an intimate moment between people that creates treasured memories which linger for many years.

As a Logan local and dedicated mum, Arwen has integrated herself into the community, choosing to raise her daughter in the area. Six years ago, she came across a perfect opportunity to own her own business. Located close to home; the business allowed her to set her own hours and pursue her passion.

“I have spent my life creating special experiences for people to enjoy … what better way to do this than with a high tea?”

Arwen McGregor, from Devon Pixies in Logan Village, is a Master of High Teas. Having worked in hospitality, tourism and events for over 25 years, Arwen has developed an extensive back catalogue of knowledge in providing people with a special experience.

When COVID hit last year, Arwen had an 80% downturn in revenue, even with a quick pivot to providing High Tea in a Box. Business is slowly rebuilding back to 2019 levels, thanks to loyal, local clientele.

“People just assume you’re shut. They are hesitant to take that first step … Don’t assume, check”.

Priding herself on her service and her homemade products, Arwen is committed to making everything fresh to order, so bookings are essential. Walking through the doors at Devon Pixies, you are greeted with the scent of freshly baked scones and the feeling of coming home; immerse yourself in the feeling of a warm hug as you sip on the delicious teas on offer.
