City of Logan is set to help some of Queensland’s most exciting entrepreneurs take
their ideas worldwide as a new incubator opens at Underwood on Friday.
The coLab Growth Hub has been designed as a launch pad for fast-scaling ventures
ready to connect into global markets. It is also a landing pad for businesses looking
to establish in Queensland or Australia.
This unique offering from Logan City Council is co-located at global edu-tech venture
Go1 and supported by international partners.
City of Logan Mayor Darren Power and Queensland Minister for Tourism Industry
Development and Innovation, the Hon Stirling Hinchliffe will officially open the coLab.
Other speakers will include:
• Vu Tran (Go1 Co-Founder)
• Fred Walti (Network for Global Innovation CEO)
Initial “Portfolio Companies” have been selected (comprising Australia’s leading
rocket and rocket fuel manufacturer, a med-tech start-up using holographic
technology and a drone company). They will be showcased on the day.
